gossettphd: Didn't mean to, but I managed to really screw up tonight. Sorry @lizapotts & @varhodes. #epicfail

cback002: Any folks know some good (free) ecommerce software I can throw on to a website?

Dave_L_Jones: So, when will research methods courses talk about following a conference's Twitter stream as a tool? (following #gdc today) #CeME #oduphde

CeME on Delicious

The CeME Lab investigates how digital technologies - such as the networked personal computer, the Internet and World Wide Web, and computer-based classrooms and workplaces - change the processes, products, and contexts for writing, particularly in organizational and collaborative composing contexts.

There are three major areas of focus for CeME:

  • Research Partnership activities include collaborating with academic, industry, and community organizations who are working on projects that can advance knowledge about mediated experience while applying their real-world impact. Such projects include participatory design, usability, information modeling, visual/textual analysis, and qualitative organizational studies.

  • Experience Consulting projects include the design and evaluation of products and services. Our researchers can help advise on the usability and findability of websites, applications, and content development. In our lab and at your site, we can conduct usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and design assessments.

  • Teaching with Digital Technologies allows our researchers to train the next generation of experience architects, professional writers, and designers, involving them in both research and practical application activities on the undergraduate and graduate level at Old Dominion University.
